ABOUT US
A team you can trust
ALLISON L. REYNOLDS, CPA
I'm Allison Reynolds, the founder and namesake behind Allison Reynolds CPA, PLLC. After spending 15 years honing my craft at firms in Middle Tennessee, I finally felt brave enough to try my own hand at entrepreneurship in 2019 and haven't looked back since.
My academic voyage began at Middle Tennessee State University, where I diligently earned both my undergraduate and Master’s degrees in accounting. Since then, I've been on a mission to demystify finance and make it accessible to businesses far and wide. Being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is one of my proudest achievements, and I am so grateful to all the clients that have entrusted me over the last 20 plus years to help with their tax and accounting needs.
From crafting standard operating procedures to orchestrating tax planning masterpieces, I've got a knack for all things numbers. But my true passion lies in outsourced CFO services, where I get to flex my financial muscles. Outsourced CFO work is my specialty as it presents a thrilling challenge, allowing me to leverage the diverse skills acquired throughout my career. I relish the opportunity to enact real change within businesses by applying my expertise across various facets, ultimately driving tangible and meaningful transformation. Thanks to the wonders of technology, I'm able to serve clients across the US while kicking it in my very small hometown of Alexandria, TN. Distance doesn't deter my dedication to delivering quality service with a smile.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of my life as an accountant, I cherish rare moments of leisure (because let's face it, as an accountant, those moments are as rare as a unicorn sighting). You'll often find me tending to my plants—a mix of heirlooms passed down through the family and special finds that bring me joy. These green companions offer a tranquil escape from the daily grind. I find solace in physical activities like CrossFit, invigorating hot yoga sessions, and gym workouts. My furry companions, Bo and Wilson, add warmth and joy to my days. Our beloved dogs were adopted from local shelters and are now inseparable best buds. Despite their large size, they're gentle giants who join us on vacations, pose for their own professional photoshoots, and eagerly join my husband and me on our hiking adventures. Speaking of my husband, he's the one who rolls with the punches and embraces all my crazy dreams, including our latest endeavor: a remodel of a historic house to create a larger work-from-home office space. He's a true partner in every sense of the word.
I hope you've enjoyed this glimpse into my world--From balancing the books to taking my pups out for a hike, and everything in between, life as an accountant is certainly never dull. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share a bit of my story with you, and I look forward to whatever adventures lie ahead. Until next time, take care and keep chasing those dreams!
